This item failed after 1 year of very light use. I would have simply purchased whatever replacement part it necessary nonetheless Zareba's "client service" was so poor that they would not even help me diagnose the problem. They could not answer easy concerns and just blamed our installation which, by the way, worked perfectly for the year that it was operational. My husband and I each named on numerous diverse occasions and everyone that we spoke with was absolutely useless. I am positive the item could have easily been troubleshooted over the telephone and repaired with a rather simple replacement element then again I decided to invest in a new charger from Gallagher who stands behind their product with a two year warrantly and terrific service.

It has been dependable and does exactly what I want. I necessary yet another solar fence charger and chose the identical make and model as what I had as I have been rather pleased with it. My new charger arrived and following charging the battery for 3 days in the sun I mounted it and hooked it up to the fence. I checked out and located it was not charging the fence. I double checked everything including taking the cover off and checking all the connections. I decided the challenge was in the electronics. I contacted Amazon and they promptly sent me the directions for returning the charger along with a prepaid UPS label. Before I could even get the package to UPS Amazon informed me that they had another charger on the way to me. WITH SERVICE LIKE THAT WHO CAN COMPLAIN. I could not be happier with the new charger and Amazon's Consumer Service.
