Buyer Evaluations

I uncover the mid-way fence a valuable addition to my panel saw. It enables me to cut shorter pieces of wood without having to bend / squat low. This is a blessing for my lower back. The worst factor about this accessory is the instruction sheets which are poorly written.....and poorly copied. The included images are black and white....which make it harder to figure out. I feel Milwaukee will need to contain color photographs and alot more pictures to facilitate assembly.
The package arrives containing 4 silver "rear assistance brackets", 2 red " fence supports, 2 white metal "help channels", 2 melamine wooden shelves, 1 stop block, 6 silver cams, and a bunch of bolts, washers, and nuts. Please note that pictures on line fail to distinguish the white assistance channels from the white malamine boards extremely nicely. On line pictures really show every white melamine board stacked on best of the white metal assistance channel.
There are some essential items to don't forget when assemblying this accessory:
(1) When laying the silver "rear assistance brackets" down. You will notice every silver bracket has two oval elongated holes. The longer of the two elongated holes are utilised to connect the white "assistance channel" to. The shorter elongated holes are utilized to connect the red "fence help" to. You will also see every bracket has a round hole on the leading and bottom. These holes will hold the screws implemented to mount the mid way fence accessory to the back of your panel saw. Specifically, the accessory is screwed behind the "upper horizontal frame tube" and the Center horizontal frame tube. To mount this accessory, requires you drill 4 7/32" holes into the back of your panel saw.
(2) The red "fence assistance" will sit on prime of the "center horizontal frame tube" of your panel saw. This red fence can then be leveled perpendicular to the saw blade prior to tightening the fence help to the silver "rear assistance brackets".
(three) The melamine boards will act as shelves...one particular on the left and one particular on the perfect. Each and every shelf sits on 3 silver metal cams. When you tighten the cam bolts, this locks the shelves in spot.
(4) The cease block clamps onto the red fence assistance. The stop block is solid, and works incredibly well. This is a five-star improvement more than applying a piece of wood and a clamp as a stop block which is what I have done for a number of years.
(five) prior to assembly check everything is square, level, and perpendicular to the blade. I employed a couple of clamps to hold the accessory in location prior to drilling the 7/32" holes into the back of my panel saw horizontal frame tubes.
General, I give the accessory 2 thumbs up for better woodworking ergonomics!

This a terrific addition to your Milwaukee Panel Saw. When cutting modest panels for shelves, etc., you will thank your self for purchasing the mid-way fence. A word of caution, the directions that come with the mid-way fence aren't highly superior. Measure, measure, measure when assembling and mounting the mid-way fence. Make positive you have a extended level to make certain the panel rests are specifically even ahead of you drill the 4 mounting holes in the back of the saw arms.
