Customer Critiques

The charger worked fine for about 4 months, then suddenly stopped operating. The battery is charged, the solar panel has a voltage output but no high voltage. Water seems to have gotten inside, either from rain or condensation. Do not get.

I purchased 3 of these units about 18 months ago. I must have realized when 1 was DOA (quickly replaced by warranty). I determined (by touch) that these do not have a especially sturdy shock as compared to other units I have. Within 6 months the initial a single failed. The second failed about two months later. I took 1 apart and was shocked (no pun) to see that it looked like it was soldered together by a 5 year old. I was unable to repair either of the broken units. The 3rd unit failed about two months ago. I saved a tiny money by purchasing these at discount, but it price far more in the finish.
