I read all the reviews on right here prior to I bought this, and they were pretty useful in creating the option of this cap. I wanted to use it to light the single post at the finish of our driveway, given that driving dwelling on a winter's night it is practically impossible to see the entrance.
It did seem to be vibrant enough for my wants, but what they don't tell you in the description is that you are not supposed to use this through winter months. It says in the directions to eliminate it in the course of the winter, meaning I have no use for this at all. This in all probability does not affect those who are applying it on a deck or fence, but I consider it's a total waste to have one thing you cannot leave out there year-round.
Other comments: The plastic housing is certainly affordable. The solar panel was cracked when it arrived, although it did not seem to be a outcome of shipping. It does not mount permanently to the post, could be quickly knocked off (or stolen in my case). Once you pull that tag that reveals the batteries, you can not turn the light off. Even if I had decided to preserve it and install in the spring, I would have had to take out the batteries to turn it off until then. Screws are hard to unscrew since of placement and the cheapness of the plastic they screw into. I think about that if you took this apart extra than a couple of instances, you would not be able to tighten the screws at all.
I am disappointed! I certainly wanted this to operate.

I put two of these solar post best lights at the beginning of a newly refurbished composite covered deck tied to my barn. It is barn red and white, the deck is grey and the railings are white.
