Pre-hinged bracket kit lets you very easily develop a custom-sized gate or add to a pre-fab fence panel without gate-sag troubles. Operates with gate openings of 27" to 72"W with no height restrictions. Fits a variety of lumber sizes (2x4's, 2x6's, etc.) and can be utilized for left- or appropriate-swinging gate. With powder-coated steel construction and rust-resistant finish. Consists of four gate brackets, attached hinges and screws.

I purchased this to construct two gates in my newly constructed fence.
It seemed like a superb notion and an easy way to build a gate.
Poor superior killed the concept. The supplied wood screws had been Highly low cost. I twisted the heads off of two of them in the course of installation. Then as soon as built and installed they rust. My gates have been up less than three months and most all of the screws are rusting. I will be replacing them with the same screws I employed to build the fence.
Then the other day I found that one particular of the welds on the brackets had broken. Basically creating the bracket worthless for carrying any weight on that corner or for keeping the gate in plane. The weld spots are rusting on the other brackets so I anticipate them to fail in the similar way soon.
The hinges are integrated (extremely practical) but they too are showing rust. I sprayed in some wax lube in hopes that it will prevent additional rust.
Its a wonderful concept but requirements substantially much better high quality.

This gate kit will indeed support you generate your gate. But the kits are not without having problems. As others have noted, not just about every brace is square. I ended up ordering one particular much more than I required and returning one particular kit complete of non-square parts. Also, the hinges barely get the job completed - they are simply front door hinges. One person suggested cutting off the hinges with a hacksaw and making use of standard gate hinges.
